Sr. Manager – Operations

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Develop, implement, and monitor SOPs for all departments.

Align operational processes with organizational goals and growth plans.

2. Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and evaluate operational teams.

Manage workload distribution, performance reviews, and team KPIs.

Ensure training, development, and skill enhancement of staff.

3. Process Improvement

Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and gaps in processes.

Implement automation tools, best practices, and continuous improvement strategies.

Drive quality standards and error-free service delivery.

4. Client & Stakeholder Coordination

Act as the escalation point for key clients and partners.

Ensure timely delivery of services/projects as per SLAs.

Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

5. Planning & Reporting

Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.

Forecast resource needs, budget requirements, and capacity planning.

Support management with data-driven decisions and operational insights.

6. Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure adherence to company policies, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Design and implement risk mitigation frameworks.

Safeguard operational data and ensure process security.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Expertise in operations planning, process optimization, and execution.

Proficiency in project management tools and operational software.

Superior communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-handling skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, or relevant field.

7–12+ years of experience in operations management.

Prior experience in managing cross-functional teams.

Experience with automation, SOP creation, and operational transformation is an advantage.
